Is there a way to get rid of my Ganglion Cyst without having to get it surgically removed?

I have a ganglion cyst in my wrist and it hurts real bad. It's been in my wrist now for going on 7 years and starting to grow more and more painful to the point to where I can't even open and close doors. I heard there was some kind of way to make them go away without surgery. Is that true?
