Please advice..its urgent!?

I have done my bachelors in information technology and then completed mba in finance. As i have dont my mba from not so reputed b-school, i am unable to find a job in finance or finance related area. i have been offered a job in MIS field in a reputed mnc. Does it make sense to turn to MIS after mba finance?? I think i am better off with some finance job in some smaller firm but i am really considering the MIS option too. Do they require an MBA to be a MIS major and not any other major for further promotions?? What is the scope of the job? i feel i have ruined my career by going back and forth from IT to Finance and again back to IT related. I dont have much programming knowledge, will i be able to handle the MIS kind of job? Is it worth after doing an MBA ?
