Please this IS a serious question. can someone please answer.?

Don't make fun of me, OK, I just want to know if it's surgically possible to change the colour of one's eyes. I know doctors can do what they call lens replacement therapy because my husband did that. does this mean they can put a lens of a different color in the eye?
