When i run my pedals in the effects loop, when they are not on i get a really bassy tone,?

when i turn down the effect loop mixing knob i get my old tone, i hav a marshall valve state and their one knob for the effects loop, the mis knob, it conrtols how much is coming in, i have it ordered properly,send into phase 90, flanger, h20(chorus and delay) into return
