Which class should I choose?

I'm an incoming freshmen who plans to major in film at my local college. However I accidentally mis-scheduled my classes and now 2 of my classes conflict, Race & Ethnicity Lit. (English) and Film Genre which is part of my major. I need to take a class for my major to maintain my financial aid I don't know which to choose
