Will brown highlights turn green?

I have brown highlights. Not blonde. Will they turn green if i go swimming in a pool with chlorine? Please answer as soon as possible! i went swimming yesterday and i had gotten the highlights done the day before and nothing had happened but my friends are making me worry that if i continuously swim THEN they will turn green. Please help!
