Is this too much for this hair procedure?

Ok, so I hate my hair. My hair stylist is like a family friend and she is really good, but I want to go to an Aveda salon... I got an estimate today, and for a hair cut with partial highlights, it would be about 95-115. Would you say that is worth it? How much should I tip if I like it and I do get it done?
